In September 2006, a few months after I started working as a label assistant at N.E.W.S. Records & Distribution, I got the chance to start my own record label there and called it Curle Recordings. The artwork was taken care of by the lovely Christian Doering from Hamburg. He also designed these wonderful tote bags for our 5th anniversary. You have to believe us, it was a time when not everyone and their grandmother had their own tote bags yet. 😌
Fast forward to 2018 when I stopped running the label and 2019 when I started taking photography more seriously. I named this page "TV Photography" first, which sounded not only uninspired, but also a bit silly, even though I can't be held responsible for my own initials of course. Because i still owned the URL curle.be anyway, i decided to add a "photography" button to it... and ask Christian Doering to provide the logo. That's all there is to it!
